Justin Wells (architect)


Justin Wells (born May 5, 1974) is an Architect currently Regional Lead Lifestyle for Woods Bagot in Dubai.

Background

Wells was born in Leeton, New South Wales and grew up traveling extensively. He attended Ipswich Grammar School and graduated in 2002 from the Queensland University of Technology. Wells became a Registered Architect in 2003 with Board of Architects Queensland.

Professional Career

Wells worked for Bruce Buchanan Architects in Ipswich between 1996 and 2001, undertaking conservation architecture and adaptive re-use projects.

In 2012, Wells was joined Powe Architects undertaking design in master planned communities with animation and archiCAD. After which time Wells joined Kevin Hayes Architects between 2002 and 2005. Between 2005 and 2012 Wells was joint owner of Tonic Design in Brisbane. Wells joined Bureau Proberts as Principal during 2013.

Wells launched Studio HBA in the Middle East in 2014, a Division of Hirsch Bedner Associates[1]
