Originally contributor to Gujarati Wiki. Have been contributing to Commons and Gujarati Wikis since 2005, under different ids. The idea behind using different IDs was to remain hidden from recognition / awards one easily gets here. As soon as one reaches certain amount of contribution, other people start acknowledging one's work.
My belief is that when one is serving the mother-tounge, one should not expect any returns out of it.
Over the period of time and especially during recent Consultation sessions at Bangalore, i somehow felt that instead of appreciating this idea, most people tend to give a suspicious look to such a contributor.
Hence from today onwards I shall work with this NON-anonymous ID.
