Kim Kardashian who is half Armenian on her father's side, made a trip to visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial in 2015 with her husband, Kanye West and their daughter North West as well as sister Khloe Kardashian. The Kardashian puropse for traveling to Armenia was to raise gloabal awarness on the genocide which occurred between the years 1915 to 1917[1]. Kims father, Robert Kardashian was the third generation from Armenia and would often influence Armenian culture on kim and her siblings. Kim stated in her article which was published in Time magazine "it was such a big part of our life: We’d eat Armenian food, we would listen to stories—my dad was really outspoken about our history"

In April 2015, she traveled to Armenia with her husband, her sister Khloé and her daughter North and visited the memorial of the victims in Yerevan.[2] In April 2016, Kardashian wrote an article on her website condemning The Wall Street Journal for running an advertisement denying the Armenian Genocide.[3] During an interview with GQ for the July 2016 issue, Kardashian described herself as a Liberal Republican, fiscally conservative but socially progressive.[4]
