My name is Anthony Lelliott, commonly known as Tony. I have worked in teacher education for most of my career. First at the Molepolole College of Education in Botswana and subsequently at the School of Education at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. My expertise within teacher education is science education, specifically biology, earth science and astronomy education, as well as informal learning.

I currently work major time at the NGO Saide in Johannesburg, and split my time between South Africa and Botswana.

I have been an editor on Wikipedia for several years, and I contribute to the SABAP2 citizen science project, mainly recording birds in pentads in SE Botswana.
