Punctuation In case [ you didn't know], spaces usually come after punctuation marks. Instead of this: I like bunnies.They are not only cute,but friendly too. Try this: I like bunnies. They are not only cute, but friendly too.

Finding references If you cannot find a news references because the person is the subject and has been dead a long time, try a website that ends with ".edu" or ".gov". Avoid websites ending with .com or .co. You can find website endings by searching like this: "banana" site:edu (finds only .edu)

Adding a reference When you click edit at an article, you will see a little picture of a white book with a red line on it. Click that and it will help you add a reference.

Refining your search If the thing you are searching is not very specific, like a movie called "Waves", try adding the year. Search: Waves 2009 If the thing you are searching is not very specific, like a town in the United States called "Oaks", try adding the state. Search: Oaks California
