Hi, I am Ankit Gupta from India. Hi, my name is Ankit Gupta. I am a sophomore at IIIT Kalyani, pursuing my bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering. I am passionate about learning and discussing the latest techs, and have developed an inevitable interest in Web Technologies, Machine Learning, AI, and Competitive Programming. I am a curious person who enjoys figuring out the building blocks of the world and rearranging them to make them even better.
I wish to travel the world with just one bag. When am not on my laptop, I am probably making pour-over coffee, reading fiction & non-fiction, and watching Harry Potter :p

Contributions to Wikimedia edit
I have been working as a student contributor for Google Summer of Code 2022 for the project : Edit Request Wizard [1] under my mentors Enterprisey and SD0001.
This project aims at creating a step-by-step form to help beginners submit a Wikipedia edit request. An edit request is a request for someone to change some text in an article. Edit requests are an important part of Wikipedia. The form created in this project will help the edit requests comply with Wikipedia policy. It will be developed as a Wikipedia user script that shows a form for submitting a Wikipedia edit request, with high-quality guidance and error messages, suitable for use by beginners, and a backend server that the user script will make calls to for validation of source and quote.
