OWAMBO MEN KILLING LOVERS AND EX-LOVERS edit
Owambo men in Namibia made shocking headlines on Medias, be it televisions, radios and newspapers because they killed their female partners or ex-lovers. Some of them ended their lives after murdering their girlfriends. As far as I can remember, all passion killings that were committed were done by Owambo men. The most recent incident happened end of September whereby a 42 year old man killed his ex-girlfriend Ms Patricia Hango. The man is also of Owambo tribe.The incidents of this nature are mostly committed by Owambo men who usually sponsor lovers with money, gifts and presents as their way of showing love and appreciation to their lovers. Most Namibian men are not financially stable, and they opt to borrow money from friends, cash loans and banks in order to impress their lovers by buying them expensive goods and materials. Most Owambo men are financially unstable due to gambling, alcohol and drugs abuse, low salaries, high inflation and buy buying ladies expensive materials.

- Being witched by a female lover
- Alcohol and drugs abuse
- Misuse of money by lover
- Financial problems caused by a female partner
- Refusing to accept when a lover decided to end the relationship
- Being infected with hiv/aids from lover
- Jealousy, rumors and lies by friends and family members
- Lover or her family refusing marriage proposal[1][2][3][4]
