Angela Symons is a 18 year old Female, born 25th April 1991 raised on the Gold Coast, Australia.


Angela is a Actress, Singer and Dancer and begun her training from a young age of 5 years old with Conny Mathot Academy of Dance - Gold Coast, Australia. After 5 years of study in Classical Ballet and Jazz, Angela started tuition with World renowned dance teacher Diane Talbot and also great mentor and teacher Amy Fitz.

Musical Theatre

At the young age of 9 years old, Angela was cast as Brigitta, one of the Von Trapp children in the Queensland Performing Arts Centre's (QPAC) SEL & GFO 2000 production of "The Sound of Music" along side stars such as Lisa McCune, Bert Newton and Rob Guest.

Continuing on her love for Musical Theatre, Angela then scored the lead role of Annie in SEL & GFO's 2001 AUSTRALIAN TOUR production of "Annie the Musical" starring alongside musical theatre stars Anthony Warlow and Amanda Muggleton,


Acting

Angela has begun training in the Acting field - taking part In castings, workshops and meetings with renowned casting directors and agents from Los Angeles, USA.

Angela was recently granted a US $10,000 scholarship for the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (A.M.D.A) based in Hollywood, Los Angeles.


Vocal

Not much private vocal training has been participated in, but she has done many coaching lessons with Jennifer Sparks and well known vocalist and performer Venetta Fields.


Dance

Although giving up dance training in 2007 to focus on school studies, Angela has been trained in all styles of dancing including Classical ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop and Funk, which has led her to taking out 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in various local dance eistedfodds in both group and solo routines.
