== Andy (Andrew) Myers' 'Musician. Born in Skegness Lincolnshire on the 4th August 1954 to Frank And Hilda Myers. Frank and Hilda moved to Skegness from Bradford in the early 1950s ,they both spent the rest of their life's in Skegness. The Myers family were from a poor background and already had 3 children under 6 when Andrew was born so they decided to have him adopted to hopefully give him a better chance in life, but sadly within 12 months of him being adopted 2 of the 3 children had died, Paul drown in the sea and Linda died of meningitis. Leavening only David, they went on to have 5 more children, Annette, Christopher, Jennifer, Martin and Susan. Andrew was adopted at 6 weeks old by Thomas and Joan(nee Fieldsend) Brocklesby from Gainsbrough Lincolnshire who changed Andrews name by adding Colin in front of his name now known as Colin Andrew Brocklesby. When Andrew was only 9 months old the family moved to 20 Queensway Sturton by Stow Lincs. He spend his childhood in sturton living at 2 other addresses before the family moved to Lincoln just as he had started Senior School. Andrew was then sent to Sincil Bank school Lincoln which he attened until he left age 15 incoln. The Brocklesby Family moved frqwently all around Lincolm for the next 20 years. Andrew spent a lot of his time with his Nan who by this time was on her own and was pleased of the company.Andrew hated Lincoln school and could not leave soon enough, but felt at home and Loved when staying with his Nan Fieldsend. It was in his teenage years that he became interested in music and was taught to play the Guitar by a Family Friend Alfred Wilkins of Casitor who took over somewhat of a Farther roll and Andrew came on well under him and it wasn't long before(at 15)andrew was performing at the local Folk Clubs to rapturous applause and performing in the \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\sincil \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\folk \\\\\\\\\\group and then country Aire
