Lisle Park District is a multipurpose, recreational activity center that serves the public and is open to everyone of all ages. It provides services such as the Gentle Learning Preschool, SEASPAR, Community Park Fitness, and the River Bend; Wheatstack - A Midwestern Eatery & Tap. The central point of the Park District is the Community Park, where people have access to leisure activities such as picnics.
History
editLisle Park District was formed in 1967. Throughout the twentieth century, the Lisle Park District had the benefits of land development and construction, programming growth, and a great increase in human resources. The growth began to slightly diminish in the mid 1990s. Lisle Park District wants to focus on marketing techniques and improving revenue.
