Antoine Williamson the Trumpet Player edit

Antoine Williamson is a recently deceased Jazz Musician of the 21st century from Gallatin, TN. Although not widely known, Williamson is known for his exceptional talent with a trumpet. He is the founder, director, and instructor of Open Doors Jazz. Open Doors Jazz was a way for him to show his love for music and the youth of the Chattanooga area. His experience includes over 30 years of experience as a professional trumpet player. He grew up playing the Bassoon and did not navigate to playing the trumpet until his freshman year at the University of Tennessee, at Chattanooga.


Moving Around edit

Antoine spent most of his early life in Gallatin and Nashville, Tennessee. He then moved to Chattanooga, TN for his freshman year of college. Chattanooga is where he spent his whole life after college except for a new employment opportunity in Knoxville, TN in 2010. However, with better music opportunities in Chattanooga, he moved back a year later in April of 2011. It is there that he found his final resting place and passed in October of 2023. [1] [2]
