User "AndreaBresnahan" has self-proclaimed that she is "excellent at sentence structure, grammar, vocabulary, and spelling," and has far too much free time on her hands.
She has a decent talent for image editing and is most fluent in Adobe Photoshop. However, she is competent in the vector editor Inkscape and is attempting to adjust to keyboard shortcuts in the Gimp.
An enthusiastic supporter of the open-source movement, she has chosen Linux Mint as her desktop environment. She has experimented with native Ubuntu, but likes Linux Mint better because "it's prettier". She has an intermediate to advanced understanding of Linux (specifically Debian-based distributions) and an advanced understanding of Microsoft Windows (specifically XP, because she refuses to risk her current dual-boot setup. If the upcoming Windows 7 is a significant improvement over Vista she may consider wiping her current XP partition.
Although she has carefully assembled her own PC from the ground up, she has no knowledge of programming or code. She suspects her ADHD (non-hyperactive) would interfere with learning how to write code.
Andrea's first language is American English and is not multilingual- but does have a rudimentary understanding of Spanish. She belongs to the "under twenty-five" category, is female, and resides in the United States.
She also wonders if user pages are required to use third-person terminology, but is too lazy to look it up.
