The Power of Things edit

The Power of Things (PoT, or Power of Things) is the network of physical objects or "things" embedded with electronics, batteries, software, emitters, receivers and connectivity to enable objects to send, request and receive power. The Power of Things allows Internet of Things objects to request, send and receive energy across an existing network infrastructure.

Early History edit

The term Power of Things and its definition first appeared in a patent application by Alaeddine Mokri to describe an electronic component that works as both a laser and solar cell to send and receive laser power.
