I am a teaching assistant for a class on Early Chinese Art at the University of Kansas and the main project this semester for the students is going to be writing articles/entries to update and expand the information here on Wikipedia on a selection of Chinese bronze vessels. The objects we are looking at are:
Ding (鼎) • Dui (敦) • Gu (觚) • Guang (觥) • Hu (壺) • Jia (斝) • Zun (尊)
In order to be able to help the students in the class mentioned above I have edited an article on my own. The article I chose to edit is on the Japanese-American painter Yasuo Kuniyoshi. For my Master's degree I am focusing on Japanese art, which is why I edited an article on a non-Chinese artist/subject.
