I am interested in statistical signal processing, in particular, with applications to biomedical image analysis such as fluorescence microscopy and mammography. Here are a number of my specialties:
- Estimation theory including Maximum likelihood estimators, Expectation-maximization and Cramér–Rao lower bound (CRLB),
- Statistical signal processing focusing on robust parameters estimation on data models with incomplete data and Poisson-Gaussian mixtures,
- Image processing including feature extraction and classification based on Gaussian mixture models, neural networks and cognitive pattern recognition,
- Real-time signal processing on Texas Instruments TMS320C6000 DSP series.
