Orion Land(東立地產), previously named Asian Growth Properties Limited (AGP) [1] and was a part of SEA Holdings Limited, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 0251). It is now a privately owned property and investment group based in Hong Kong, currently with key projects in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

AGP was publicly listed in the AIM market of London.[2]

Asian Growth Properties Limited (AGP) has been independently managed from SEA Holdings Limited since 2017[3] and was privatized by company key stakeholders, Lu’s family, in December 2017. The company has been renamed to Orion Land in May 2018[4] and continuous focus the business in Hong Kong and Mainland China.[5]

1956-2000

SEA Holdings Limited, the predecessor of Orion Land, was established by Mr. Lu Chu Mang in 1956[6], and was one of the pioneers of Property Developers in Hong Kong. SEA Holdings Limited was listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1973[7]. And it has various developments in Hong Kong, Greater China, Australia and New Zealand[8].

The office building at 108 Gloucester Road was completed in 1991 and was the flagship commercial building of the company, now known as Everbright Centre.

Company started overseas investments from 1990s. 363 George Street, flagship commercial property in Sydney was completed in 2000 and got the "Commercial Award" in National Awards 2000 of Australia[9], conferred by RAZA. The property was sold in 2003 and was one of the largest property transactions in Australia by that time.


2001 -2019

2005: Plaza Central (http://plazacentralchengdu.com), landmark Grade A office and commercial property in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, was completed and in operations.  It has developed the new standard of commercial building in Chengdu by that time.

2006: Asian Growth Properties Limited, predecessor of the Company, was listed on Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of London Stock Exchange.

2009: Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Causeway Bay was opened and was the only 5-star international hotel branded hotel in Causeway Bay area by that time.

2015: Company sold the Dah Sing Financial Centre to China Everbright Group with a consideration over HKD 10 billion and made one of the record-high commercial transactions[10] in Hong Kong.

2016-2017: Company purchased two prime properties in London, which is 20 Moorgate and 33 Old Broad Street[11].

2018: Company renamed Orion Land.
