Personal

I am a huge David Bowie fan, thus the nickname, borrowed from the single "Aladdin Sane". I didn't like the sound of "A lass insane", even though it would be a more accurate adaptation...

I live in Europe and consider myself a European Citizen, for what it's worth - and by the way, living in Europe and speaking German does not automatically make me German. And living in Europe and speaking English doesn't necessarily make me English either, does it? ;-)

Wiki-Stuff

I've been more or less active as a registered user since January 2006, and most of the time I spend improving the article on albinism (or related articles). Amazing how much it has grown over the time!

I also like to contribute to space exploration articles, especially about the space shuttle program and ISS missions.

Apart from that I'm doing some typo fixing wherever "Random Article" points me to! I also love to use Wikipedia for college stuff - JUST BECAUSE we aren't allowed to use it! Nothing gives you an overview of any given topic these days like Wikipedia does!

If I had more time, I'd be contributing to a lot more articles... like those about marketing, language stuff and many more. I read a lot and am interested and more or less knowledgeable in several areas.

I would also write something useful here instead of the ridiculously over-excessive use of user boxes there *blush* - but they are fun! ->
