1377: Petru II of Moldavia (ca. 1374–92) sends taxes to the Ottoman Empire to the Sultan Murad I, meaning Moldavia = Vassal[1] Moldavia under Porte Hegemony based on 1392 treaty with the Bayezid I[2]

1402-13: Moldavia independent from Ottoman Empire because Ottoman Empire is having civil war[3]

1420: Ottoman Empire attack Akkerman unsuccessfully.[3]

1455: Re-establishment of Ottoman Supermacy under Peter III Aaron (r. 1454– 55, 1455–57) and payment of 2,000 golden coins to Mehmed II (r. 1444–46; 1451–81)[3], Homage-Paying in 1455-56[4] Another date is 1456 for the Ottoman Vassalage[5]

1456: Moldavian have freedom to trade in major Ottoman cities[3]

1470s: Moldavian-Hungarian relationship grow stronger[3]

1475 (January 10): Ottoman try to re-gain control during the Battle of Vaslui but they get defeated[3]

1462: Moldavia drifts away from Ottoman political goals[6]

1473: Start of the Moldavian-Ottoman conflict[6]

1476: Stephen becomes hostile towards Ottoman control of Caffa and declares allegiance towards Hungary[3]

1476 (July 26): Mehmed II defeat the rebel Stephen the Battle of Valea Albă[3]

1479: Re-establishment of Vassalage and payment of 6,000 instead of 3,000 Golden Coins[3], note: Ágoston/Masters doesn't say 1479, another book says it

1480-81: Ottoman-Moldavian peace between [4]

1484: Ottoman conquest of Kilia and Akkerman[3]

1486: Ottoman-Moldavian peace between Bayezid and Stephen [4]

???: As a result the voievod, Stephen the Great, began paying regular tribute. The voievodeship submitted completely to Ottoman suzerainty[3]
