Alexandre Bettler is a Swiss-French graphic designer based in London. Born 27 November 1976 in Bern, Switzerland. Alexandre moved to London to study at the Royal College of Artin 2003 after graduating from the Ecole Cantonale d'Art in Lausanne in 2000. After one year working freelance in London and part time for FlourPowerCity Alexandre et up his first studio in the basement of an old bakery on Hoxton street. In 2006, he joined Matthew Appleton and Daniel Crabbs to form Modern Avtivity a design studio located at Space Studio studios in London Fields. After some initial experiments in 2003, Alexandre launched the high visibility clothing Reflect-Please in 2005. In 2008 he launched DesignMarketo with friend/colleague Jerome Rigaud.

Alexandre started his personal project 'the bread workshops' while a student at the Royal College and has organised workshops in different locations accross Europe. The Bread Workshops are based on the french word for friend (copain) where co=with and pain=bread.
