editI chose an article titled, "Jewish Emancipation". I believe that this article is largely problematic. While it does a good job of explaining the emancipation movement, it doesn't examine all aspects of the aforementioned movement. For example, it devotes a plethora of the article to examination of the movement’s roots, and where in the world it began. The article also showcases a chart to provide the reader with an accurate timeline of the movement. Although it initially has good information, the article ultimately lacks the negative aspects of the movement. I will use the following source to aid in my improvement of the article: C. Dubin, Lois. Modern Judaism. Oxford University Press. Specifically, I believe pages 39 and 40 in this source will help me further examine the consequences of the movement. I will not only correct and examine the existing content, but also I will add a plethora of information pertaining to the consequences of the movement. The paragraph showcasing the consequences of the movement requires additional citations, which I will fill in where I see it as appropriate. Nobody can deny that a lot of good came from the movement, however some Jew’s became distanced from their faith.
