Early life and carrier :
Born in Ranchi (then Bihar) now Jharkhand, lived in Ranchi,Pune he started his theatre group named aum the existence on stage during his college days in 2010(when he was studying bachlour of arts in journalism and mass communication )
since then he is actively directing plays. He acted and directed most of the aum's performance and scripted half of these . Since 2008 Akshay has been engaged in creating his own style of realistic plays based on theory and present techniques, his noticable plays are "chaataariyan" by mohan rakesh which he did for international theatre fest symbiosis pune, "nangi aawaazein" is an adaptation from one of the short stories of manto. His influence includes Jerzy Grotowski & Konstantin Sergeievich Stanislavski .
