I began editing to help reduce the number of unclear and grammatically tortured sentences. I then registered to begin adding to or correcting content (which I actually research and do not base on "something I think someone once told me") as needed. I've just identified a gap in the articles on the practice of law (one of my areas of study) and intend to create the absent pages.

My main irritant with Wikipedia, though, is that I have seen some good pages degenerate in quality or have well-written material scrapped [I'm referring specifically to the pages on "strategic management" (which devolved and had to be ressurected) and the page "strategy" (which was a good page a few years back, but is currently a hollow, amateurish husk].

I propose Wikipedia come up with a system to allow users to nominate paragraphs as "well-written, accurate and complete" (again this is just paragraphs--I KNOW this doesn't apply to topics, which evolve) and once so designated, the paragraph is protected and any change must be approved before it appears on the page.

I have no idea who to nominate this concept to...
