William Duff Murdoch (2 July 1866 - 26 January 1945) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father was David Murdoch (born 15 January 1819), a tailor from Sanquhar, Dumnfriesshire.
His mother was Agnes Simpson (born c. 1826). David and Agnes married in 1856 in Sanquhar.
William Duff Murdoch was born in Sanquhar on 2 July 1866.[3][4]

editHe died on 26 January 1945 in Chelsea, London. He was buried in Brompton Cemetery in London.[5]
