William Mosman (c. 1700 - 26 November 1771) is a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father was William Mosman [Snr] (born c. 1660), a merchant from Kirkurd in Peeblesshire.
His mother was Eupham May (born c. 1668) from Edinburgh. She was baptised on 5 May 1668. William and Eupham married on 8 July 1687 in Edinburgh.
William Mosman was born c. 1700 in Edinburgh.
