John Morison (7 September 1851 - 11 February 1912) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

His father was John Morison [Snr] (26 December 1813 - 24 August 1893) from Thornliebank, Renfrewshire. He was a pattern drawer and calico artist at the Thornliebank printworks.
His mother was Mary Gillies. John and Mary married on 29 July 1841 in Glasgow.
John Morison was born on 7 September 1851 in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire.
