Robert Munro (12 August 1784 - 6 October 1867) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father was Robert Munro [Snr]. (born c. 1746), a soldier from Alness who served in Canada.
His mother was Janet Forbes.
Robert Munro was born in Ferintosh on the Black Isle on 12 August 1784. He was baptised on 20 August 1784.
He enlisted with the 26th Cameronians on 31 August 1803.
He married Jean Pringle (1811 - 2 December 1860) from Fochabers in Moray.

editHe died on 6 October 1867 at 7 Union Row, Aberdeen.[6]
