Joseph Milne (1 February 1859 - 10 January 1911) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father was William Milne (9 November 1832 - June 1916) from Old Machar, Aberdeen.
His mother was Helen Watt (10 December 1833 - July 1913) from New Deer, Aberdeenshire. William and Helen married on 31 December 1857 in Aberdeen.
Joseph Milne was born on 1 February 1859 in Old Machar, Aberdeen.
He married Janet Bonthron Thomson (27 November 1860 - 10 February 1931) from Wemyss in Fife.
His son was the artist John Maclauchlan Milne (12 August 1885 - 28 October 1957).[3]
