Brenda Mark (1922 - 20 September 1960) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHer father was Alan William Dobson Mark (1896 - 1973) from Newcastle on Tyne, England.
Her mother was Annette Wood. Alan and Annette married in July 1919 in Knaresborough, Yorkshire, England.
Brenda Ellis Mark was born in Hull, Yorkshire around October - December 1922. She was brought up in Edinburgh and remained in Scotland.
She married the artist Robert James Philipson (17 December 1916 - 26 May 1992), known as Robin, in 1949.

editShe died on 20 September 1960 in Edinburgh. Her usual address was 6 St. Vincent Street, Edinburgh.[3]
