Robert Macaulay Fisher (3 September 1843 - 19 December 1891) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life

His father was Archibald Fisher (c. 1803 - 5 November 1848), a lace manufacturer. He died after being thrown from a gig on 4 November 1848. He died the following day at Carnarvon Street, Glasgow.[5][6]
His mother was Alison Allan (26 February 1820 - 28 February 1895) from Glasgow. Archibald and Alison married in Glasgow on 18 November 1838.
Robert Macaulay Fisher was born on 3 September 1843 in Glasgow.[7]
He married the artist Janet McLaurin (24 August 1844 - 16 September 1927) in 1879 in Helensburgh.
