Alexander Mackenzie (13 January 1850 - 8 February 1890) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father Alexander Mackenzie [Snr] (born c. 1816) from Ireland, was an upholsterer.[3]
His mother was Catherine Mathieson (born c. 1815) from Midmar, Aberdeenshire. Alexander [Snr] and Catherine married on 4 April 1839 in Aberdeen.

Alexander Mackenzie was born on 13 January 1850 in Aberdeen. He was baptised on 24 February 1850.

editHe died on 8 February 1840 in Aberdeen. His estate was worth £195, 5 shillings and 5 pence.[8]
His usual residence was 144 Hutcheon Street West.
