John Douglas Macgregor (13 October 1892 - 10 September 1951) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father was David Macgregor (c.1865 - 17 February 1936), a painter from St. Andrews.
His mother was Elizabeth Crichton (5 February 1867 - 22 June 1952) from Edinburgh. David and Elizabeth married in 1891 in Leith, Edinburgh.
John Douglas Macgregor was born on 13 October 1892 in St. Andrews.
He married Williamina Anderson (1901 - 4 September 1996) from Fife. They married on 14 July 1927 in Anstruther, Fife.

Death
editHe died suddenly at his home at 57 Queensborough Gardens in Hyndland, Glasgow on 10 September 1951.[4] He is buried in St. Andrews Eastern Cemetery.[5]
