George Lindsay (14 January 1794 - 8 August 1870) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father was James Lindsay.
His mother was Eliza Coutts.
George Lindsay was born on 14 January 1794 in Fordoun, Aberdeenshire.

1851 census - New Road, Coupar Angus[4]
He married Jane McMillan (c. 1802 - 29 October 1862) from Paisley.[5] They married on 5 December 1850 in Glasgow.[6]
