Isobel Hotchkis (8 October 1879 - 20 February 1947) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHer father was Major Richard James Hotchkis (born c. 1834) from Dumfriesshire.
Her mother was Mary Anna Young (born 1851) from Madras, India.
Isobel Hotchkis was born in Crookston House near Paisley on 8 October 1879.[3]
Her sister was the artist Anna Mary Hotchkis (30 May 1885 – 14 October 1984).
