Gordon Norman Gunn (24 February 1916 - 18 December 1979) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father was Richard McLeod Morrison Gunn (1 June 1889 - 16 October 1933) from Tarpoley in Cheshire, England.
His mother was Margaret Mary Woodiwiss Henstock (16 April 1887 - 10 July 1973) from Bonsall in Derbyshire, England. Richard and Margaret married on 1 April 1912 in Birkenhead, Cheshire.
Gordon Norman Gunn was born in Glasgow on 24 February 1916.
He married twice. The first marriage was to Ailsa McKenzie in 1939; the second to Katherine Marie Sharman (17 September 1916 - 20 October 1987) from Hackney in London.
