James Hall Cranstoun (19 May 1821 - 8 June 1907) was a Scottish painter.[1] He also used the pseudonym H. Cakly.[2]
Life
editHis father was James Cranstoun (born c. 1796).
His mother was Margaret Rentoul. They married in 1819 in Muckhart, Clackmannanshire.
James Hall Cranstoun was born on 19 May 1821 in Muckart.

editHe died on 8 June 1907 at 3 Atholl Street, Perth. His estate was valued at £122, 5 shillings and 6 pence.
