- Category:Former countries in Asia, dividing into regions
I am trying to clean up/organize Category:Former countries in Asia. There are over 200 countries listed. I am organizing it along regional lines (e.g. South Asia, East Asia, Central Asia). I having trouble with the template:Infobox Former Country. It doesn't just hold the continent. It also automatically puts the article into Former countries of (blank). I can't leave the continent blank or the template faults. I plan on getting the template modified later, after all the reorganization. Until then I am putting in a placeholder to keep the template from faulting.
