Paul Anton Kavanek (born May 3, 1988) is a Norfolk Police Officer, former beach lifeguard and an aspiring mixed martial arts fighter. He currently lives in Virginia Beach, Va.
Biography: Paul Kavanek grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and graduated from Broadneck High School, where he began wrestling. After graduating from Anne Arundel Community College with an AA Degree in Criminal Justice, he traveled through Central America for five months working with various volunteer organizations in poverty. He worked as a beach lifeguard/beach patrol for three years and during this time began his interest in mixed martial arts. After graduating a six-month Police Academy, he became a police officer in Norfolk, Va. He now trains in kickboxing and submission wrestling and enjoys volunteering with his local church.
