I am a long-term resident of West Africa, a librarian and avid reader. My name is Nina Chachu. Currently I am Head Librarian at Ashesi University, which is located outside Ghana's capital, Accra. I have worked in a special library (in Nigeria in the 1970s), in the then Ghana Library Board in Kumasi, then with the British Council (in both Kumasi and Accra), before joining Ashesi in early 2008.
