Abraham "Abe" Riesman is a New York resident who works as a producer for the city's 24-hour news station, NY1.

Riesman is a graduate of Harvard University, where he received his degree from the selective "Social Studies" degree program. Extracurricularly, he was the Arts Chair of The Harvard Crimson.

He has worked as a reporter for the Evening News program at WBAI Public Radio, as well as an assistant producer for "The Leonard Lopate Show" and "Soundcheck," two talk shows at WNYC Public Radio.

He was born in 1985 in Chicago, Illinois, and lived in Oak Park, Illinois for his whole life, up until he left for college. His family still lives there.
