Early Life and Education
editIdrees completed high school in 1965 and joined the Dar Governmental Arab male and female teachers in Haifa in 1967. He earned a teacher’s certificate in the Arabic language from the Governmental Arab Teachers’ House in Hadar in 1982.
Career
editThroughout his career, Idrees taught history and geography at various schools, including Al-Mushairfa and Baqa Secondary School. He eventually settled in Al-Taybeh, working at Al-Bukhari School until his retirement in 2000.
Commitment to Education
editEven after retirement, Idrees remained committed to educating others about his country's history. He worked as a tour guide for the Society for the Protection of Nature, leading school groups and foreign delegations on tours of historical sites. He also dedicated himself to documenting the history of Al-Taybeh, publishing six volumes under the title "Al-Taybeh Bint Kanaan."

Legacy
editDespite his passing on February 13, 2021, at the age of 74, due to complications from COVID-19, Idrees's legacy lives on through his works. His writings serve as a lasting tribute to his dedication to preserving the history and heritage of his beloved hometown.
