My Plan for Improving the Article
editMy main plan for improving this article on Print Design is to expand, add on and grow in most parts of the article. Depending on when this article was created, I've found several things to be updated in uses of print design. As well as that addition, I'd like to expand on what lithography is and it's brief history as well as define modern lithography. Sense lithographic printing is the most common method used among print production of newspapers, magazines, books and commercial materials - I feel as though having a more expansive and knowledgable background would overall help the article and increase the credibility. Additionally, the article doesn't give an expansive background on the history of print design. Including details like the creator of the Letterpress was a German Blacksmith and a simpler explanation/definition of a Letterpress. Included in my plan for improving the article, I'd include history about print design in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the 1950's, include Apple's release of the Macintosh in 1984 and the first digital publishing software following a year after, Photoshop in 1999 and InDesign in 2000. I believe adding this information is important for the article to build credibility and knowledgable but also expand on why print design is the way it is today and how it got there. I'd like to discuss this in the talk section and see what other people think.
