Scott Vargas (born July 16, 1991) is an American ice hockey defenceman. Vargas played three seasons of college hockey for the Finlandia Lions of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association. In 2020, the Puerto Rico Ice Hockey Association was founded and Vargas became the president and executive director of PRIHA. Competing internationally for Puerto Rico at the Amerigol LATAM Cup in Coral Springs, Florida, United States, Vargas won a gold medal in the 2022 Division I tournament.

Vargas was born in Lithia and raised in Tampa, while his father is from Puerto Rico.
