This user profile is for AacostaENGL1101. I am a freshman at a Georgia State University and I love music. I can play over 25 percussion instruments and I can also play the piano and the clarinet. I was the first bassist for a drum line and I was also one of the drum captains. I was an honor graduate from my high school. In addition, I also received the HOPE scholarship which pays for my whole tuition. Oh yeah, I LOVE STEAK!! Last but not least, A band by the name of Third Day states what I believe in the best, "I believe in a faith that's strong. I believe in a hope that carries on. I believe in these things and more...Most of all, most of all, I believe in love(God)."

Achievements throughout my career

Like stated above, I was an honor graduate from a high school in Statesboro Georgia. I have been an honor student since 9th grade. I have participated in Key club, Boy Scouts and in Band from 2005-2010.

Technology or no technology

I am the genius of geniuses when it comes to technology. I am the beast of the beast. I am the king of all technology! Nah, I’m just playing. I’m actually an average when it comes to technology. I know how to get around a computer and actually do productive things. I can use every Microsoft software that is out there and I can also use a music composition software called Sibelius. One program that I have not yet taken a chance to operate is Photoshop, but it has to be done for the good of Wikipedia.

My wikitude

Well Wikipedia to me is a place where an information hungry person can get more data to digest. Aside from that I think that Wikipedia is a lot more creditable than what the teachers at my high school used to state. Only because it is edited by people does not mean it is not taken care of or watched. The high school I was at used to block the page because they thought it was too “dangerous” for us to see or use.

Bilingual

Not only am I Fluent in the art of speaking the English language, I am also a master mind in speaking the amazing language of Spanish. I taught myself when I was in 3rd grade and ever since then I have gotten much better. The finished result is having the talent to speak two languages fluently and effortlessly.

My contributions

I plan to contribute a lot more to Wikipedia, but a contribution that I have done to it was on an article called “Bass Drum.” I contributed to that article because drums and especially the bass drum is very important to me.
