I am Dennis J. Frailey, currently employed at Raytheon company as a Principal Fellow specializing in product development, product development management, and software engineering. I teach internal and external courses in these areas as well as being heavily involved on major product development programs in a variety of capacities.

I also teach as an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University, where I currently specialize in software engineering management, software quality engineering and software measurement courses. I've done this for over 35 years and in the past have taught pretty much all there is to teach in the field of computer science, as well as a significant number of courses in computer engineering and software engineering. I've also taught at UCLA extension and University of Texas Software Quality Institute.

Finally, I teach as an independent contractor and plan to migrate to doing more of this after I retire in a few years.

My career has included both academic and industrial positions in the computer field and along the way I have worked and published in the fields of computer architecture, operating systems, compilers, and software processes as well as the management topics mentioned previously.
