Yvette Hayward (born June 14, 1969) is the President & CEO of the African American Literary Awards Show, Inc. In addition to A.A.L.A.S., she is the President & CEO of Flowers & Hayward Publicity & Entertainment, Inc. F& H Publicity has been a powerful resource in the literary field for over seven (7) years. She has represented well-known authors such as,Essence Best-selling authors, Lolita Files, Victoria Christopher Murray, five-time NAACP award recipient, David E. Talbert, New York Times Best-selling author, Wendy Williams, and several others With an established client base of best-sell authors, the company is able to carry out its mission through developing client specific tailored programs such as book signings, radio, television, print and promotional tours.

A.A.L.A.S. was a labor of love that Hayward was trying to give birth to since 1996. She was able to finally bring it to fruition in September 2004. The African American Literary Awards Show honors, salutes and celebrates the achievements of African American authors and writers in the literary, publishing and entertainment industry. The literary award show is an annual event and is held at The Schomburg Research Center for Research In Black Culture in October.
