AUSSENKEHR

Aussenkher is a place in Southern Namibia, some 25km downstream of Noordoewer. Its normally called a farmer on bank of Orange River hard on board of Namibia and South Africa not really a town simply because is not at standard. Its in Karasburg consitituency of Karas Region.

INFRASTRUSTURE AT AUSSENKEHR

Infrastucture in Aussenkher is basically poor, no proper road at all e.g tire road, no recreation and other. There are no school only one primary School which is really bad, no Hospital only a Clinic which is owned by the government because this land is actually a privite land. There are no glocery store only Spar people from there are really suffering and things are expensive due to that no competitors. Houses al Aussenkehr are somehow made up with poor man-madeoasis from the band of the river | dried starch called embungu in oshiwambo. There is no access to clean water, people use water from Orange River which is also use as toilet, due to the fact that grapes require some wate they use irrigationno electricity except spar and grapes vains settlement but the whole location is in dark and only some few people uses solar energy.

JOB CREATION AT AUSSENKEHR

Emsie Erastus stated that "Aussenkehr workers are still havig it rough. Despite the millions of dollars generated from grapes produced in the South of Namiba,workers harvesting the grapes still live in a sorry state at the aussenkehr settlement. The large settlement of the grapes vain employs a huge number of employees most from northern of namibia whereby they recieve their fixed wage monthly. It has low population but it tend to increase as from September to December due to the fact that most people are temporary workers, and this contribute to the economic of our country althour is temporary . The grapes are exported to some nearby countries like in Europe and South Africa before christmas and some remains in the country. There are also some more fruits and vegetables which are grown there like, Mangos,Burstards,tomatoes and cabbages.

WEATHER CONDITION

Due to the fact that grapes don't require high rainfall, the place doest not receive rainfall at all as grapes freezes out and die. The place have fructuating weather condition, morning time is cold,day time suny and afternoon is windy and cold.
