I am Terry Carter, the actor, director, producer whose brief biography you have already published in Wikipedia. I have been in show Business since 1954, so I would wager that you had my information early on. The reason I am contacting Wikipedia is that I happened on your site one day and discovered that someone had replaced my original photograph with an ugly snapshot of me. I know where and when the bad picture was taken, but I have no idea why anyone took the trouble to replace my previous photo with the existing one, since it is, in my mind, hideous. I have made attempts to get you folks to accept a better photo of me, but I was told that the new photo could not be a professional photo, and that it had to have the express approval of the photographer. I have attempted to comply with that. The photographer, a friend of mine, has since written to Wikipedia expressing his permission for the good photo to be utilized. But nothing has happened! I have, since then, explored the pages of acquaintances and colleagues of mine and discovered that their photos were obviously professional publicity photos. So, I am confused! that Wikipedia has impeded my efforts to restore a good photo to my web page.

Kindly tell me what you now require as assurance that I am complying with your guidelines, and that I am who I say I am. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
