About me

edit

I'm currently a junior and a part-time running start student. Usually during my free time I used to enjoy reading, but now I'm not the biggest fan of reading. Whenever I do read I like to read comic books online for example webtoon, webtoon is a good app as it has many different genres mostly Kdrama but in comic form. I'm currently reading See You In My 19th Life this is a TV show too. Other things I like to do during my spare time is I like to take naps espacailly the ones after school, play video games, listen to music, and binge watch Cdrama's. My favorite music genre is K-pop my favorite groups are New Jeans and Enhypen. My top 3 favorite Cdrama by far would be When I Fly Towards You, Exclusive Fairytale, My Lethal Man, currently watching Back To Seventeen, and You Are Desire.

My Wikipedia interest

edit

If I were to work long term I would probaly write about an author, artist how they influenced me, someone I look up to. My goal is to help others out by teaching them about someone's life that they don't know about or want to learn about. How and why did they become who they are right now. Basically someone not very many people know about. For example An YuJin she is part of a girl group called "Ive" she is an idol she once debuted in a group named Iz'one with Jang Wonyoung but due to some circumstances Iz'one disbanded, later on both An YuJin and Jang Wonyoung debuted in another girl group called "Ive" on December 1st 2021. An Yujin is the leader of her group. One of her reasons on why she became wanted to be an idol was she and her friends attended one of the year end award ceremonies, she managed to get 1st row tickets, at the award ceremonies she watched artists reciveing awards, An YuJin felt touching and emotional and she wanted to become like them one day, so she went home that night and told her mother she wanted to become a K-pop idol. She did her research and found a small audition, then StarShip entertainment contacted her to ask her to audition when she danced, sing, and did a camera test she got accepted as a trainee right away.

Article evalution

edit

I have been very interested in learning more about how groups are being disbanded throughout the K-pop industry. I noticed that Iz*One isn’t a K-pop group anymore and I wanted to find out more so I visited the Iz*One article on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: career, disbanded, outcome.

Career

edit

I’ve noticed on the Wikipedia article about the K-pop group Iz*One. Iz*One is a South Korean-Japanese girl group formed through the reality competition show Produce 48. This group consists of 12 members and was created with the collaboration of the Korean Produce 101 franchise and the Japanese idol AKB48 group. This article is very well written and has no grammar errors or any informal language, it also uses formal and appropriate language to convey the information about Iz*one.

Disband

edit

Mentions about the challenges the group faced including delays in their activity due to a vote manipulation scandal. Despite the efforts of their fans to prevent disbandment, Iz*one officially disbanded in April of 2021. This article is written in an unbiased way, it doesn't show a strong preference or take sides it just provides facts and information about the group without trying to persuade you to think one way or another.

Outcome

edit

As for the outcome, all of the members went their separate ways either debuting as a soloist or debuting in a new group. Based on this one article J-14 [1]. This doesn't seem to have a bias because it's just giving a brief summary of what each member is doing.

Conclustion

edit

Overall, I'd say this article is ok. They provided information about the group, but there is some information that wasn't included like the exact day when the group disbanded rather than just saying "April 2021", other than that everything looks good.
