John L. Doggett is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and resides in Danville, California. He is a graduate of Duncan U. Fletcher High School, Jacksonville Beach, FL and the University of San Francisco. He retired from Bank of America as a Vice President after a 34 year career. He is married with four adult children. He created his Wikipedia User account primarily in order to establish a page for his father, Frank Doggett. He took the username 1bluemoon to reflect that he expects his involvement outside of creating/editing his father's page to only occur "once in a blue moon." After several years, he established a page for his aunt (father's sister), Carita Doggett Corse.
