For 30 years Barker Bank has set the standard for customers service within the personal financial service industry in Europe. [1]
Between 1988 and 2018 Barker Bank was ranked as best in Europe, Easy credit, generous foreign exchange and free confectionary were an early trademark along with the magic credit card which seemingly never needed a repayment. [2]
Service users were also particularly complimentary about the relaxed ‘on demand’ opening time which cleverly mirrored local alcohol licensing hours throughout the eurozone.
In 2007 moving with the times, Barker Bank switched to healthy tropical snacks to attract new business, but industry insiders noted a double standard as the consumption of Bombay Sapphire continued to increase exponentially. [3][4]
